MoneyTeumTerms of Service

These terms apply to all apps and web services provided by MoneyTeum and govern the relationship between the operator and users. The storage, synchronization, backup and liability provisions also apply to all MoneyTeum apps and web services. The availability and conditions of individual features follow the relevant service’s notices.
Calculator favorites and recent calculations sync across devices only when signed in with Google, entitled to Calculator Premium, and sync is enabled. With sync off, new changes stay on the current device. JSON backups contain history, favorites, keypad layout, currency and vibration settings, but no login credentials.
1. Agreement to and application of these terms
By using the service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. For features that require Google login, you agree to the operating standards of that feature through the sign-in process and by posting or saving. Matters requiring separate consent or notification by law will be provided separately.
2. Services provided
- Calculate available amount based on payday and living expenses budget
- Income, expenditure, fixed costs, memo records and calendar, statistics, and backup functions
- Standard, everyday, and finance calculators plus unit conversion tools
- Travel lists, schedules, packing, expenses, notes, and travel data synchronization and backup
- Community posts, comments, reactions, and reports
- Profile, character, badge, attendance, random box and level functions
The scope of some features may vary depending on browser, operating system, installation method, or login status.
3. Account and eligibility
The budget and calculator can be used without signing in. Anyone can read the community board, but posting, commenting, profiles, and rewards may require Google sign-in. Users must provide accurate account information and keep access to their account and device secure. Users must not use someone else's account or transfer account access.
4. Storage, sync, and backup responsibility
This section applies to storage, synchronization and backup features offered across all MoneyTeum apps and web services. Storage locations and synchronized items follow each service and feature’s notices. Account synchronization requires the applicable conditions, including Google sign-in, feature access and sync settings. A newly connected device merges local and server records or loads server records according to that service’s behavior. Concurrent edits may cause conflicts or overwrites. Users should keep separate copies using available backup and export features against browser data deletion, app removal, device damage, loss or replacement, or synchronization failure. Recovery of records not sent to the server or overwritten is not guaranteed. This limitation does not restrict rights under Section 12 or applicable law.
5. Community use standards
Community posts and comments are public. Specific, candid opinions about spending are welcome, but the following conduct is prohibited.
- Threats, harassment, hate speech, insults, personal attacks or discrimination
- Infringement of other people's rights such as personal information, privacy, portrait rights, copyright, etc.
- Promoting illegal activities, fraud, spam, repeated posting, and advertising/promotional use.
- Falsely impersonating another person or interfering with service operation
- Malicious code, automated bulk requests, security bypass or vulnerability exploitation
- Posting dangerous personal information such as financial institution authentication information and account passwords
6. Content rights and permission to use
In principle, the rights to content created by a user belong to the relevant user. Users grant MoneyTeum a non-exclusive right to store, transmit, and display posted content on the Service and to use it to the extent necessary for operation, including report processing, search, backup, and technical conversion. This right ends when the content is deleted, although copies may remain for a limited period of time due to legal obligations or backup cycles. You should only post the work of others if you have the necessary permissions.
7. Reporting, Restrictions and Deletion
The operator may review content that has been reported or is suspected of violating the Terms and may take actions such as hiding, requesting modifications, deleting, restricting creation, or restricting account access. If there is an urgent need to prevent damage or have a legal obligation, we may take action without prior notice. If you object to an action, you may contact us by providing content identification information and the reason.
8. Calculation results and consumption opinions
Budget, loan, interest, tax, date, and unit results are reference information based on your input and general formulas. They are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and actual results may vary by contract terms, institutional methods, tax rates, and fees. Confirm important decisions with official sources or a professional. Community opinions belong to their authors and do not represent MoneyTeum.
9. Changes and interruptions
We may change or suspend parts of the service for improvements, security, maintenance, legal compliance, or operational needs. We will give advance notice of changes that materially affect use where practicable. Network failures, third-party outages, disasters, or other events beyond our control may temporarily interrupt the service.
10. Ending use
Users may stop using the service at any time by signing out and resetting budget, calculator, and rewards data synced to their device and account in Settings. Deletion of server-stored sign-in information, public profiles, community content, and attached images may be requested through the Contact page. The operator may restrict use in accordance with applicable law and reasonable procedures when needed to address a violation of these terms or protect the service.
11. Rewards
Characters, badges, check-ins, boxes, and levels are entertainment features used only within the service. They have no cash, point, or other property value. Their contents and earning conditions may change for operational reasons. Progress may be reset if device data is deleted while signed out or a sync error occurs.
12. Scope of liability
This section applies to all apps and web services provided by MoneyTeum. Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, MoneyTeum limits liability, to the extent permitted by law, for losses arising from input errors, failure to back up, device or browser issues, external service failures or public posts. This section does not restrict rights under mandatory laws, including consumer protection laws.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when the service or law changes and will post the effective date and changes on the site. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material or unfavorable changes. Continued use after the effective date is subject to the revised terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and request deletion of your data.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties will first seek to resolve disputes through discussion. Unresolved disputes will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
