MoneyTeum processes only the information needed for each feature. Before sign-in, budget, memo, calculation, and rewards records are stored on this device. After Google sign-in, they sync to account-specific server storage over an encrypted connection. Content posted to the community is used to operate the public service.
Calculator favorites and recent calculations sync across devices only when signed in with Google, entitled to Calculator Premium, and sync is enabled. With sync off, new changes stay on the current device. JSON backups contain history, favorites, keypad layout, currency and vibration settings, but no login credentials.
1. Core principles
You can use the budget and calculator without registering. While signed out, budget records, calculator favorites and recent calculations, check-ins, and mystery-box progress stay only on this device. After Google sign-in, this data syncs automatically to account storage so you can continue on mobile and PC with the same account.

MoneyTeum does not ask for bank account passwords, card numbers, or online banking credentials. Do not include this information in public posts or inquiries.
2-1. Basis for processing and third-party disclosure
We process information as needed to provide requested ledger, sign-in and community features and operate the service securely. Optional visit analytics is processed only with permission. We do not directly sell personal information. Section 8-1 explains Android advertising SDK collection, sharing and choices. We may disclose information within the scope of a lawful request or separate user consent. Processing by service providers is disclosed under external services below.
3. Storage and automatic sync
Budget records, calculator favorites and recent calculations, and check-in, box, and level progress are first stored in the browser's local storage. After Google sign-in, they are also saved automatically to account-specific server storage for use across devices. On a device signing in for the first time, device and server records are merged. Later, the most recently saved server state is loaded. Display names, profile photos, characters, and equipped badges chosen for the community may also be stored on the server. A JSON backup can be downloaded from Settings.
After Google sign-in, the gift coupon wallet automatically backs up only coupon text information to account-specific storage. When you sign in on another device, missing coupon text information is restored. Coupon photos remain only in the current device's browser and cannot be restored from the account backup. Photos may be included in a backup file downloaded by the user.
4. Google sign-in and cookies
Google sign-in is used for posting on the MoneyTeum board, viewing your profile, and backing up gift-coupon text information. MoneyTeum does not receive your Google password. Google provides your verified account identifier, email, name, and profile photo URL. A signed secure cookie maintains sign-in for up to 30 days. The cookie uses HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. Signing out expires the session cookie on this device.
5. Information made public on the community board
Anyone can read the community board without signing in. The nickname, title, body, amount, currency, category, images, comments, reaction counts, posting time, selected character, and equipped badges that a user posts are public. Google email addresses and account identifiers are not shown on the page. Remove contact details, account numbers, addresses, faces, or other information you do not want to make public before posting.
6. Voice input
Voice input runs only when the user starts it. On the web it uses the browser's microphone permission; in the Android app it opens the device's speech recognition service. Recognized text is used to create budget entries. Where and how long the speech recognition provider processes audio depends on its settings and privacy policy.

6-2. RCS message import
Shared, pasted and permitted message payment notifications are analyzed on the device. SMS/MMS is checked against device storage; notifications whose type cannot be determined are marked unconfirmed. Existing RCS conversations are not scanned. Updated app versions keep recent recognized payment originals only on this device to review completed records. Originals are not sent to the server and are removed when the app data is cleared in Android Settings. Ordinary conversations and verification codes are not retained.
7. Storage period and deletion
- Budget, calculator, and reward records: It will remain on the server storage of your device and login account until you reset or request deletion of all data in Settings.
- Login session: It will remain for up to 30 days after issuance or until you log out.
- Community content and images: Stored in the database and image storage until a deletion request is completed. Linked images are deleted with the post, but may be retained as needed for reports, disputes, or legal obligations.
- Operational/Security Records: We keep it for as long as necessary for disaster response, security and legal obligations and then delete or de-identify it.
Electronic records are removed from storage so they are difficult to recover when their retention purpose ends. Any information collected on paper is shredded. Resetting all data in Settings deletes records on this device and the signed-in account. 8. Visit statistics and options
We only load Google Analytics and Google Tags if you allow us to collect visit statistics. In this case, the pages visited, access time, device/browser type, approximate location and interactions with the site may be processed by Google. The contents of household ledgers, memos, and calculation records are not sent to analysis tools. Users can opt out when first prompted, or reset their opt-in status by clearing their browser's site data.
8-1. Android advertising and privacy choices
The free Android ledger displays Google AdMob banners. Premium and Super Premium do not display banners. To provide and measure ads, perform analytics and prevent fraud, the SDK may collect and share IP addresses and approximate location, app launches and interactions, diagnostics and performance data, and device identifiers such as advertising IDs and app set IDs with Google and advertising service providers. Advertising data is encrypted in transit.
MoneyTeum does not put ledger entries, amounts, notes, SMS/RCS or finance notification text, or account email addresses into advertising requests. Optional SMS and notification access is used only for the payment import features selected by the user, not for advertising.
Where consent is required, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents advertising privacy choices. Ads are requested only when the SDK permits requests. When available, advertising privacy settings in Settings let you change your choices. You may also delete or reset the advertising ID in Android settings. Depending on your choices and region, limited ads may be shown or ads may be unavailable.
Google's privacy policy and advertising technology information govern its retention, deletion and international processing of advertising data. Deleting ledger data in the app does not automatically delete data held by advertising providers.
9. Outsourcing of external services and processing
To provide the service, we use Google OAuth (sign-in), Google Analytics (optional visit statistics), Cloudflare D1 (ledger, calculator, gift-coupon text, reward, and community data per account), Cloudflare R2 (community attachments), and Cloudflare and OpenAI Sites (hosting, network, and security infrastructure). Sign-in information, optional visit statistics, network requests, and information needed to operate the service may be processed by those providers. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not sell personal information or provide it to advertisers, except as required by law or necessary to provide a user-requested feature.
10. User rights
Users may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of processing of, and withdrawal of consent for their personal information. Budget and calculator records can be edited or deleted in the app, or removed using Reset all data in Settings. Requests concerning account and community information stored on the server are handled after identity verification. Some requests may be limited where records must be kept by law or other people's rights need protection.
11. Ensuring safety
MoneyTeum applies protection measures appropriate to the scale of the service, including protecting login cookies, encrypting transmission sections, verifying writing permissions, and processing reporting and hiding. However, due to the nature of Internet services, absolute security cannot be guaranteed, and users must log out of shared devices and safely manage backup files.
12. Children’s personal information
Users under the age of 14 require the consent of their legal representative to log in or use the community creation function. If we become aware that a child's personal information has been collected without consent, we will confirm and take necessary measures, such as deletion.
13. Policy changes and inquiries
When this policy is modified due to changes in functions or laws, the effective date and changes will be posted on the site. Changes that significantly affect users' rights will be notified in sufficient time.
